About the area: A traditional whitewashed mountain village, Mojacar is situated in the southeast of the Province of Almeria some 152 meters above mean sea level (37°08′″N 1°51′″W). It covers an area of approximately 72 km² and stretches down to the Mediterranean Sea where the tourist resort know as Mojacar Playa is situated beach.
